Parking: The Great Debate

(A report of the 2nd June 04 meeting.)
A big thank you to everyone who attended this meeting and a big apology that we were unable to get around to discussing subjects other than parking. Attendance was good with 32 residents and 2 councillors.

Dubbed a "special" meeting its purpose was to discuss the survey results and decide on the way ahead for triangle residents. As we still have no chair Susan Dye our secretary stood in and started the meeting with a round of introductions and apologies. However, before she could get much further down the agenda the debate on the parking problems in the Triangle started spontaneously (as in spontaneous combustion!). The agenda was abandoned and the ensuing debate lasted nearly the entire meeting proving once again that the parking issue is still the Triangle's number one concern. No minutes were taken during the meeting as the usual minute takers were caught up in the debate,so we decided to write this report instead. With that in mind I apologise if after reading the following anyone feels their point of view has been misrepresented.
