Parking
Parking: Survey
Earlier in the year we commissioned a
Survey covering approximately
one third of the 600 or so
households in the Triangle. Our
volunteers worked incredibly hard
but were simply unable to get round
all the houses,so if you did not
receive a survey form we apologise
again. This means that the data for
most of the roads in the Triangle
was insufficient to meet council
rules for the introduction of parking
permit schemes. However,in two
of our roads well over 50% of
households filled in and returned
forms which means that these roads
do meet the council rules. In these
two roads (Dacre Road and
Florence Street) the majority of
households are in favour of the
council introducing a parking permit
scheme (see charts). Although we
were only able to canvas a small
percentage of households from the
other roads (about 20 -30%) a
majority of those that did fill out the
forms are also in favour of a
parking permit scheme.
