Many thanks to all that participated in the survey,
whether you volunteered to carry out the survey or
whether you simply filled in and returned it,
you have contributed to a successful information gathering exercise.
The most controversial subject is as usual Parking.
The results show that most streets are in favour of controlled parking,
but only Dacre Road has enough of a response to take to the council.
How this affects the other roads, depends on what we as a Residents Association present.
Influence the decision by attending the next meeting,
emailing the secretary or
dropping a note into 27 Dacre Rd.

Residents have given a resounding thumbs up to local shops,
with over 90% of respondents saying that shop locally!
The Residents Association have sent this information
on to the press as an endorsement of how much we value the area.
Perhaps local shop-owners would be interested in encouraging local trade by
offering discounts to residents? Any views on this can be sent to the
secretary.

Unsuprisingly the survey has uncovered that residents are most likely
to live in the area for up to 5 years.

The survey discovered many interesting attitudes towards traffic,
which are shown here.
